One of my pastors is fond of reminding us that while God’s grace is free, that doesn’t mean it wasn’t costly. This is also true of the freedoms we enjoy in the USA. To all those who have paid the cost – who have sacrificed convienence for conviction, who have left their families to provide freedom, who have given up their rights to do what’s right, words can not express our appreciation.
